My Club at MVHS – Study Tools at Mountain View

Usually, studying can be very tedious and difficult. Finding practice tests on the only the parts of the desired subject can be very difficult at times, and usually students have to make flash cards with their own questions to quiz themselves for an upcoming test. Additionally, although flash cards can be helpful, it is not the same as taking an actual practice test. For this reason, I have decided to create the Study Tools at Mountain View (STAMV) Club at my school.

The STAMV club is focused on creating a website focused around providing helpful study tools for students such as customizable quizzes and flashcards. These quizzes and flashcards will be shareable so students can use these tools in study groups, allowing for a large amount of people to benefit from them. Additionally, this website will be public to allow anyone to be able to use our programs at no cost.

As stated earlier, the STAMV club’s main motive is to provide students with a reliable way to learn and study. Because the popular study website Quizlet no longer offers free custom quizzes without a premium account, we felt it best to provide a solution by making our own platform to make and share quizzes, among other things beneficial to studying and helping students learn. My club members and I are planning to code the website from scratch, and at this time we have already finished the home page to the club. Next, we are planning to split up to work on the about page along with working on the tools themselves.
